IT Guides, Checklists, and Resources for South Florida Businesses

Practical guides, checklists, and reference material for South Florida business owners and operations leads. Browse what's available or skip straight to a 1-on-1 conversation with our team.

What you will find here

This library covers the IT and cybersecurity topics that come up most often for SMBs in South Florida: hurricane and weather-related continuity planning, HIPAA risk management, Microsoft 365 configuration, cloud migration decisions, and baseline cybersecurity practices for teams without a full-time IT staff.

Resources are organized into four formats. Guides walk through a topic in depth with step-by-step context. Checklists give you a printable or digital list you can hand to your team or use in a vendor evaluation. Case studies show how other Florida businesses have handled specific IT challenges. The glossary defines terms your IT vendor or insurance carrier might use that are not always self-explanatory.

New material is added on a rolling basis. If you are looking for something specific and do not see it, use the contact form at the bottom of this page and we will point you to the right resource or create it.

Get a customized assessment instead

A generic checklist will only take you so far. If you want to know exactly where your network, backup posture, or compliance gaps stand right now, a direct assessment gives you specific answers for your environment, not a general framework.

Our no-cost IT review covers your current infrastructure, identifies gaps in backup and recovery, checks your Microsoft 365 security configuration, and gives you a plain-English summary with prioritized next steps. No sales pressure. No obligation to move forward. Most reviews wrap up in 45 minutes.

To schedule a review, use the form at the bottom of this page or call (888) 788-8292. We serve businesses across Palm Beach County, Broward County, and the broader South Florida metro.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these resources free to download?

Yes. All guides and checklists in this library are available at no cost. Some may require a name and email address so we can send the file directly. We do not sell contact information and will not add you to a marketing sequence without your explicit opt-in.

How often is new content added?

We add new material on a rolling basis, typically when a topic comes up repeatedly in client conversations or when a regulatory or threat landscape change makes a guide newly relevant. Hurricane-season content is reviewed and updated each spring ahead of the June 1 season start.

Can I request a guide on a specific topic?

Yes. Use the contact form at the bottom of this page or call (888) 788-8292 and ask for the resources team. If the topic is relevant to other South Florida SMBs, we will add it to the production queue and notify you when it is published.

Do these guides apply to businesses outside Florida?

Most content is written with South Florida businesses in mind, particularly the hurricane preparedness and local compliance material. The cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and cloud migration resources apply broadly and are used by clients across our NJ, NY, and PA offices as well.
